Wattpad - A Cultural Artefact

Wattpad is a cultural artefact representing and changing current youth culture. This book is a self-reflexive attempt to unpack the social and cultural influence this artefact has on adolescents. In this study attempts will be made to describe some past developments of Wattpad and its current form in order to identify some of the relational and social influences relevant to the context of secondary education. By trying to integrate theoretical perspectives from readings about adolescent identity and diversity, it will attempt to draw out the implications this has for educators who see humans as Imago Dei.
