Elizabeth, a girl of the dark and an aspiring Valor, a guardian of the peace and the defender of the weak, is the only source of happiness and joy outside of the cities walls and is determined to save her people from themselves and their ever growing sadness and unwillingness to fight back.

The question is, can she overcome to stigma placed on her people and will she succeed or fall to the same fate as the rest of her family and her people, everlasting sadness and doubt?
