He'd always had a penchant for bringing home stray animals. Much to his parents dismay, he'd often nursed birds or rabbits back to health that he found in the forest surrounding their house.
This time however, he had truly outdone himself.
It was a good thing he was his own Elf now, with his own house and workshop to command he thought, hauling the unconscious Moonshadow elf on his workshop table. 

Sunfire!Ethari finds an injured Moonshadow elf near his home and decides to rescue him, unknowing of the consequences that might come with being owed a life dept. 

This is canon divergent (Ethari is a Sunfire Elf) and will only loosely follow the actual series.
