Feysand's son, Nyx, meets Rowaelin's daughter, Kahina. Despite trying to keep their relationship professional, they're drawn to each other. Two heirs to different kingdoms falling in love is never a good idea. It's a constant battle between their desire for power and their love of each other.

When one of the countries find themselves in a war with a rebel force, Kahina and Nyx's bond will be put to the test. New dangers will arise. Trauma will bring back the memories of old relationships. If someone were to have two mates, how would they possibly choose between them?
