But one day, she learned his name, and it all went downhill there. Knowing the man behind the door was the long lost brother of one of her lifelong friends, King Papyrus, she had to make a decision. A Strange Feeling (Sans X Reader)
Do not expect consistent updates as life gets busy 🙃. This is rated mature because of strong language. You are a 24 year-old in college and have loved Undertale since the beginning. You enjoy all the aspects of the game; the story, the lore, the music, the backgrounds, and most importantly the characters. You've started having a strange, almost malicious feeling related to the Genocide run and that creeps you out. So, you start a pacifist run and after a while, you fall asleep. You wake up in Undertale and thus begin your new journey. Through your travels, the strange feeling comes back, but as a different emotion. Perhaps the only one that can help you with this feeling, is a certain punny skeleton. (I tried my best I'm not very good at summaries 🥲.) Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel).
