"No," he responds. "I mean, the little things, and how they can be beautiful." He turns now, looking at me, and I lift my head up to meet his gaze.

Chelsea is the daughter of the ex-doctor for WCKD, Mary Cooper, and is currently with her mom in the Right Arm. Chelsea was living a stable life in the mountains, until the day that the Right Arm picks up a signal saying "We're coming. Don't move camp." Chelsea recognizes this voice to belong to her old best friend, Brenda, who she hadn't seen for almost 2 years. Once Brenda arrives, Chelsea sees that she isn't alone, but brought 5 other people, 4 of them having previously been in the maze. As time goes on Chelsea starts to get closer with one of the newcomers, Newt, and discovers that she doesn't feel alone when she is with him, that she finally for once feels safe. Challenge after challenge, loss after loss, they become each others home, willing to do anything for each other.
