Just a bunch of poems I write to help get through life. You can see my journey through anxiety, friendships, relationships, sexuality confusion, family nonsense and depression. You might relate.

I wrote this because I needed to survive it. Because there are some feelings too big for silence. Some heartbreaks too heavy to carry alone. This isn't fiction. This is my heart, broken open and rearranged into verse. "I saw you standing where the sidewalk curves, and suddenly my chest knew different words." - That's how it started. A glance. A stranger. A feeling I couldn't ignore. "You said we needed to talk. Those five words, I knew. I already knew." - And that's how it ended. Not with fire. With silence. I won't tell you that time heals all wounds. I won't say everything happens for a reason. I won't pretend heartbreak makes you stronger. But I will show you that: You can survive what you think will destroy you. You can break and still become beautiful. You can love someone and lose them and still be whole. You can be your own happy ending. I wrote these poems with tears on my face. I wrote them on good days when I forgot to hurt. Every word is something I actually felt. Every line is a moment I actually lived. "You are not broken. You are breaking open. And that's where the light gets in." - That's what this taught me. That's what I hope it gives you, the comfort of knowing you're not alone.

I'm not the best at poems or stories, but I use this as a coping method. It may not make sense to you, but it does to me. - I just made this to write when I'm feeling down, or just extremely sad. Maybe you can relate on some of them. Please note, these can take on serious topics such as suicide/suicidal thoughts and self-harm. This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. There may be some uplifting poems but also raw ones filled with real emotions, things I've experienced. \\ Notes from me the poet: Some aren't all poems I guess you could say but these are my feelings and maybe some of you can relate :) feel free to comment or message me with any questions, feedback or suggestions I greatly appreciate anything!

*Poetry and quotes I come up with when I'm supposed to be asleep* Most are quite short so the last chapter will be all of them combined because I'm aware of how many ads there are now They will get better and most will be triggering I will update occasionally but I'm marking as complete Please vote or comment on your favourite poems (alway comment any spelling or punctuation mistakes) Please don't ask me if I'm ok, I'm fine and poetry is how I cope with many things. I just hope that if you relate to any of these poems that they help you too. Btw all the love poems are about a guy that I no longer like that much but they're not that shit so why not keep them TWs: language, suicide, depression, derealization, self harm, murder and more Wow!
