Addison Kizmo is average teenager. She goes to school, gets good grades and loves to be herself but suddenly all of that changes. Her father, who was her bestfriend, has died in a plane crash. After the tragedy, her mom and herself move from Maine to New York to get a fresh start somewhere new.
Reece Miller is not your average teenage guy. He lives in apartment by himself after his parents kicked him out suddenly. Having a good paying job already, he has moved into an "okay" apartment in a middle class neighbor and starts to learn how to trust people again after the damage of his parents. Even after everything he has been through, he still has his music.
How will Reece fall back on the right path? Where does Addison come in play? How will Reece's music effect them both?

I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?"
