Harry Potter (or so he thought) discovers some unsettling news once he was almost beaten to death by his "uncle", he was sent a letter from gringotts stating that he has gone through his creature inheritance. When he gets there, he discovers something that makes his blood boil.
He's been lied to all of his life.

Draco Malfoy was almost in the same predictiment. No one was in his house when he went through his creature inheritance. He was in his own pool of blood that was not from the inheritance. He soon discovers he's also been lied to once he gets to gringotts.

Everyone has returned to Hogwarts for their 8th year however everything's a bit different. Post war has been very difficult for people so young, including their petty rivalry still ongoing towards students of different houses. The Slytherins, once holding their heads high and grabbing attention in every room now hang their heads low, desperate to turn invisible in the crowds. Even students recently sorted into the house are being targeted and bullied. The golden trio have none of it- protecting (certain) Slytherin from the harrows of hormonal teenage rage and war fuelled anger. Not just this; the 8th years have reached an age of maturity where their underlying bloodline of magical creatures have awoken. Their entire family bloodline share the same creature, however, the 3 hierarchical categories of Dominant, Beta, and Submissive aren't traditionally passed down. This is where the worry emerges. Traditionally, 'pure bloods' are sectored into the Dominant position while it's more of a guessing game with muggle borns and mixed heritage. Though, no one could ever be sure. The wizards always saw themselves as better than the muggles. Of course, there is one place that showed that the most and that was the kingdom of Hogwarts. In that kingdom there was a ruthless, cold hearted prince named Draco Malfoy. He was as colder than ice and hated muggles with a passion. He saw them as nothing more than dirt and made them aware of it. But within the kingdom, there was still some good. Not all the village people were prejudice, instead they made friends within each other. They loved to gossip, especially when it came to this new girl who just moved into town with just her father and a secret that follows them. Enter Grania, named after her mother she rolls into town seeking a new life with her father. She knows nothing of magic or that it even exists. But the thing she does know is that the village talks about her. They find her very unusual and different. She loves to work, help people in need, and things of that nature. But is it good or bad? She longs for, instead of adventure, love. But that seems far out of her reach especially when she meets a certain man who pushed her in the mud. However, she does catch the eye of a famous war hero that all the girls want. They both share this strange feeling that none of them have felt before, especially Draco. Does this mean that this Beast will soon find himself falling for the very thing he despises, or will he push her away? This story is an adaption from the 2017 new Beauty and the Beast movie.
