Mom glances at me and goes back to cleaning dishes. She is used to me randomly throwing thoughts out in the open.
I take a sip of chocolate shake and concentrate on my bucket list.
1. Learn to do handstand
2. Scare my brother when he returns from college (but how?)
3. Get a life!
4. Travel around the World!
Hmm where do I start my adventure...

#Me too... I'm a waitress on cruise ships
Miami, Hawaii, Bahamas, Bora-Bora... "There must be a way to visit all these exquisite places besides in my dreams", thought Ann obsessively, during her last year of college. And indeed, she finally found one, despite her meager means, being born in a modest family, in a former communist country. 22 years old, with the college graduation out of the way, she applied for a job on cruise ships, halfway across the globe, in the sunny, exotic Caribbean Sea. It was just a waitressing job for which she had to leave everything behind... her family, her friends, her entire way of life up until then. Even her higher education was useless in this new endeavor of her life, but what else was there? Her wish was to travel, to see the world, to experience new cultures and being poor was not going to stop her. Little did she know about how excruciating would be to adjust to the life onboard, as part of a crew made of 1000 people from 77 different countries. 77 different cultures, traditions and customs, trying to make it work while sharing tiny, petty living quarters, in a prison like décor, located under the sea level, while working around the clock to create a dream vacation for thousands of rich, spoiled passengers. Shortly, the notion of cultural differences turned into a cultural abyss, but Ann finally discovered that the only two things uniting people across the globe are love and danger.Complete
The Day I Turned Into a Cat (Completed)
Have you ever wished to spend your days sitting in the sun? Not having to care about anyone or anything? Never having to worry about make-up, boys, clothes, money, or family? Well then I, Rachel Robby, can relate. I fact, I wished the very same thing upon a shooting star. Well, I thought it was a shooting star, but it could have been an airplane. Or maybe, if you believe in aliens, you would have thought of it to be a UFO. Anyways, my wish came true. So here I am, stuck in my cat Dexter's body, when I'm actually supposed to be sipping on a margarita on a white sandy beach in Maui for my yearly vacation. Either way, I still get relax and I'm even starting to enjoy my life. That is, until I find out that I'm not the only person-gone-animal. So for now, I'm trying to find a way to get not only myself, but also my new companion, back into human form before the cat drags in something even worse.Complete

F*** Cancer, This One Did Us All In.
There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.Complete

I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well, I didn't get that, but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce... Royce was two years older than me and had the prettiest purplish eyes and blonde hair. He was the most charismatic person I'd ever met. Then shortly after me and Royce's first appearance we met Jack and Koa. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, until I realized that I had fallen for Royce. And he seemed to fall for me too! Until another girl came into the mix 𖣔 "Do you hate me or not Royce?" "I wish I never fucking spoke to you because god I hate you so fucking much for making me love you! It's your fucking fault! Fuck you!" "And do you love her?!" "Way more than I will ever love you." #5 in unrequited 12-3-2020 #2 in tearjerker 3-14-2021 #8 in unrequitedlove 5-15-2021Complete

Tell me, how will you ever be free if you do not take a risk every once in a while?" "I take risks." "You may take risks that give you freedom from your life, but I have a feeling this risk is a little different on many levels, correct me if I'm wrong." I began to think, did one single day really matter? Maybe it would help, maybe it was all I needed to stop thinking about him. "Make the most of it as it will both the first and the last time you are taking me to lunch, let alone ever seeing me again."Complete
