Giyuu has always had the feeling of loneliness even with his new friends in the hashira, but when he meets Tanjiro the feeling just goes away. Eventually, a new feeling started to appear while around Tanjiro.
After Giyuu and Tanjiro got close the redhead started to notice that Giyuu has had sleeping problems so he's set out to help the boy. Tanjiro has tried everything... Or at least he thought till one night...
This is a Solemate AU wear you feel safer around your solemate than anyone and your solemate has a smell that you can only smell, they always release it but they might release more to calm you down plus many more reasons or they might stop the sent for a few minutes for lots of reasons but you can only stop the sent for 3 minutes you do have to at me smell your mate once a week since you find each other the less you smell them the weaker you get. Also you have to be older than 16 to meet your soulmate.
In this AU The demon slayers travel with another slayer if the slayer Is their mate or they just travel with their mate so they don't run out of energy. In this AU Giyuu is 18 not 21

I also don't go slow like it sounds and I kinda have tanjiro find out about the problem of sleeping the first day he's there but other than that I'm trying to stick to the plot.

Giyuu is with his useless boyfriend who treats him badly but manipulates Giyuu to stay with him. One night this boyfriend forces Giyuu to go with him to an underground fight ring, while they are watching the fight his boyfriend disappears and Giyuu notices and decides to act out on it. He eventually finds him in the bathroom hooking up with some, cheating on Giyuu. Giyuu gets pissed and storms off, being followed by his now ex-boyfriend who is begging for him back, they start to argue on their way out as the fight ends and the ex-boyfriend gets pissed and tries to hit Giyuu and as Giyuu is. accepting the fact he is going to get hit, something, more like someone stops the strike before it lands on Giyuu. it was the winner of the fight. He is tall, well built, covered in scars, white hair, and muted purple eyes. He was handsome and charming and dealt with the ex pretty quickly and then went to hit on Giyuu and try to ask him out but Giyuu is not entertained, thanks him, and leaves. About an hour later he has to go into work as he is called in for an emergency, one of his jobs is working as a bartender in a club, and since this club is popular he does run into someone he met only an hour before. That same fighter, he learns his name is Sanemi Shinazugawa. From that moment on Sanemi tries his best to take Giyuu out and take care of him, Giyuu is intrigued but doesn't plan to fall for him that easy.Complete
