Covid-19 lasted 3 years before finally being eradicated world wide. Alesae was one of the last people to get infected and die by the hands of the sickness, only she didn't stay dead... She came back as a vampire! 

Becoming a danger to everyone should holds dear, Alesae packs up her life and leaves home in search of a way to fix herself. Being a passionte fan of The Vampire Diaries, she seeks out its star, Ian Somerhalder's help. Having the big heart that Ian does, he allows her shelter at his house, promising to help her find a cure for vampirism and in the mean time, help control her deadly craving for human blood.

Other than the raging impulse to rip somone's vein open and drink form it, life is not so bad for Alesae. Shes living in at Ian Somerhalder's home and is even attending a get together party with him. But what she doesn't know is that this party will change her life forever...

Though the heroine in the book fancies the actor but everything concerning him has been kept clean, nothing happens between the heroine and Ian Somerhalder as he is married and that should be properly respected, and of course the character of the actor described in this book is just my perception of him and probably nowhere near an accurate representation of him. Also fret not, the heroine has has her own touch of romance with another character you will come to know in this book.
