Pico was running. From what, he wouldn't tell anyone. He wasn't even completly sure if he knew. Nevertheless, it was constant movement for years on end. He knew how to do things, and when to do them. 

One day he heard a commotion nearby. For once, he let his curiosity take charge and went to investigate. 

He met a young man with blue hair, and the two hit it off. Before he knew it, he was catching feelings.

During the harsh, cold winter is where Nene and Pico meet under unusual circumstances. Pico finds something in Nene that he has never seen in any woman that was ordered to the castle to try out for the position of queen. That something in Nene may just be what revives Pico's humanity...
