"Tell me Jenkins, do you believe in soulmates?" he asks while looking deeply into her eyes.

"No, never have and never will."

Always have. Always will.

"Shame."

Aurora Jenkins is a pureblood Gryffindor. Being friends with Fred and George Weasley, she had a reputation for trouble making and sarcastic tendencies, but when her world collides with a certain Slytherin she realises she has met her match.

Aurora Beauchanan is many things, and apparently being a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is about to be added to that list. With quite a few secrets that are better left untold, and befriending not only Harry, but the Weasley's and their friends as well, her whole life is about to be turned upside down, even more so when she meets the enigmatic Potions Professor, Severus Snape...And as Severus tries to unravel the mysterious personality of the young witch that seems unphased by his ill tempered and harsh disposition, he can't help but be curious about the unabashed and defiant Gryffindor who seems to present more trouble than she is worth. With a spirited character and an attitude to match, Aurora finds that blending in and keeping a low profile don't exactly make for an easy life, especially with the Triwizard Tournament around the corner. When nothing is as it seems, how is she supposed to distinguish between what's real and what isn't? Say....feelings about a certain potions professor that she can't seem to stay away from? As the secrets and mysteries pile up around her while her past threatens to expose itself, Aurora will have to overcome insurmountable odds and decide who she can trust as her life hangs in the balance. After all, sometimes things aren't about doing the right thing, but doing what needs to be done. This story takes place during the events of The Goblet of Fire. Soulmate AU with a bit of a twist, since happy endings don't necessarily last forever. Note: This is a rough draft, and the first round of editing changed the POV from first to third person. It's still being edited, so a second draft should take care of any remaining grammatical errors and the like. Thank you for sticking with this story, and I hope you enjoy it!

Audrey is a kind-hearted and gentle soul, known for her graceful beauty and quiet strength. With her long blonde hair, soft blue eyes, and radiant smile, she effortlessly captures the attention of those around her, though she tends to shy away from the spotlight. Raised in an aristocratic family with a strong sense of propriety, Audrey is thoughtful, compassionate, and always eager to help others. Her sensitivity and understanding make her a loyal friend and a source of comfort to those who know her well. Though she has often kept her emotions close to her chest, Audrey has a deep well of love and affection for those she cares about, particularly for George Weasley. George Weasley is charming, witty, and full of life. With his mischievous grin and quick sense of humor, he is always the center of attention, making everyone around him laugh. He has a natural charisma that draws people to him, and he shares a special bond with his twin brother, Fred. Though George can be carefree and playful, he also has a deep capacity for loyalty and care, especially when it comes to the people he loves. Over time, his feelings for Audrey blossom from friendship into something deeper, revealing a side of him that is tender, sincere, and profoundly affectionate. Despite his usual confidence, his relationship with Audrey makes him more introspective and vulnerable, showing a more thoughtful side of the beloved Weasley twin. All The Ways I Loved You; Fred Weasley

33 parts Complete Mature

SHE'S THE THIRD TWIN-without the red hair or the last name. Quick-witted, fiercely loyal, and a menace with a wand, Carys Delling has spent six years as Fred and George Weasley's ride-or-die. Detention buddies. Business partners. Chaos co-conspirators. They're the kind of inseparable that makes people wonder how many lines have already been crossed. But Carys knows the rules. Best friends don't fall in love-especially not with Fred Weasley. Especially not when he's always looking at someone else. So she keeps the truth buried under jokes and jinxes, pretending her heart doesn't race when he grins at her like she's the only person in the room. She tells herself this is enough. That being by his side, even if he never sees her that way, is worth the ache in her chest. But feelings don't stay quiet forever. Not when Hogwarts is changing, the future is closing in, and Fred-reckless, brilliant Fred-is starting to look at her a little differently. Like maybe he's been missing something that's been right there all along. Carys Delling doesn't lose. Not at Quidditch. Not in a prank war. And definitely not at love. So why does this feel like falling?
