Veronica Blues is living out her dream: living in a small apartment overlooking New York and working at Paperview magazine. At first, working at Paperview isn't what she expected. She got small editorials or Who-Wore-It-Betters, but when she gets called into her boss's office, once again, she isn't sure what to expect. Does she get a raise? Is she fired? No, even worse, she has to write a story about Chasing Stars, a band she absolutely despises. The only good news? Veronica's job is to make each band member turn on each other, and completely tear apart the band, all for publicity. Veronica sets up a few meetings with the members of Chasing Stars and realizes the boys really aren't all that bad, maybe even a little "cool," after all, they are the biggest band in the world. She might even start to catch feelings for one of the band members. But she can't simultaneously date one of the members and break up the band. Now Veronica has to choose between her budding romance with a band member or her dream career she's been wanting for more than ten years.
