Fall From Glory

A sequel to Come Out On Top, Fall From Glory continues the story of the new leadership under the Neverseen. Things will change as plots are discovered, ghosts of the past are reawakened, and hidden truths are pulled out from behind their guises of power.

The Neverseen have finally accomplished their long sought-after, ultimate goal. With Gisela and Fintan in charge of the Lost Cities, the former leaders have refused to surrender. The Neverseen members set out to reign control and obedience over their subjects live up to their name. Miscreants find everything is turmoil if they disobey, and punishment becomes a common sight. Even the most prominent families are subjected to their ruthlessly cruel reign.

As their rule draws out, the Neverseen begin to get more conniving, diving deep into the past while Forgotten Secrets are brought to light. Both of the ruling two want the power and absolute control over the Lost Cities, and more dangerous games begin as they all hunt for bargaining chips, bribes, and form secret alliances in case one turns on the other. Knowledge that the new Councillors could betray each other simultaneously has emotion and anxiety run high, making their rule incredibly suffocating.

The siblings are getting desperate for breath, trying to find a way out from all of the Neverseen's folly. Their true nature has finally been exposed, leaving them wicked and heartless. In the end, however, it only takes one betrayal and one choice to ruin everything, shattering the long-strained fabrications that held their reign together.

There is a reason these things are forbidden, and one carefully hidden and well-guarded secret has the power to change the entire board, to avenge the fallen. After all, ambition, knowledge, and power are the most dangerous things, but even they are only the tip of the iceberg for the hidden power buried beneath time and space.
