A group of five girls, infatuated with murder mysteries and serial killers have met up once again, like they do every single Friday at seven pm, ready for a new meeting of The Friday Night Murder Club, prepped with DVD's of real-life murder mysteries, about five different versions of Cluedo, a playlist packed with all of the emo hits and way too much sugar five secondary school students should be able to consume. But what happens when they find that one of their own has died during the night? Will all their training be put into good use, or will they crash and burn?

Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. As the year goes on, some of the students realize: -A secret passageway may not be limited to only the house. -The school has a basement -Falling down a flight of stairs can save lives A supposedly dead student wakes up from a coma, people start realizing things, all leading to the final, seemingly unimportant clue, that closed the gap from arresting the wrong person, to finding the real murderer.Complete

Wives' Murder Club
The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)

In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us.
