Author's Note- This story my tribute to my cousin, the story is close to her true story, and she is one of the strongest woman I know. My entry for the #EyesLipsFierce contest. A story which inspired me more to continue writing and chasing my dreams, and I hope this would encourage you all too. 😊 -monochromatic_ash Leigh-Ann, was born alongside a heavens worth of expectations; it was her burden to bear. Everyone would say that she was the perfect princess : an ace student, beautiful, graceful, elegant, sophisticated, born with wealth, successful and above all humble, kind and respectful. But behind the curtains of her little stage, where she pretends to be the perfect princess, which many would like to call Life, lies her imperfections, her insecurities, her vulnerable state, and her best kept secret. "She would grow up as successful as our whole family" "She would be our perfect little princess" "She would be a beautiful and kind girl" "She would be the envy of women, and the desire of men" Leigh-Anns childhood revolves around these phrases, thus resulting to a tantamount of pressure and a life motto. 'I must not disappoint.'

#315 Non-Fiction-9/27/17 "The loneliest people can be the kindest. The saddest people sometimes smile the brightest. The most damaged people are filled with wisdom. All because they do not wish the pain they've endured on another soul." - Timothy Delvecc Every person has a story. Usually when we look at someone we don't know, we tend not to think about what they could possibly be going through and all the thoughts running through their mind. Our brains tend to make judgments based upon what we see; and everyone knows that's not always a good thing. This is a story-a true story-of how judgment became my worst enemy. Mind you, this is not a happy tale. This is a story of a girl in search for happiness. A girl who has yet to discover herself while journeying down an unpleasant road filled with lies and torturous schemes. Don't let the title of this book deceive you and the picture of the smiling, innocent young woman lead you to believe this will be a book about sunshines and rainbows. What you do not see is the immense pain and anger that hides behind the slight grin. The scars from countless fights that are covered by the thin layer of clothes that nobody will ever see. So think again when you look at this book-because on the inside you'll find the story of the little girl on the cover is not what you'd expect.
