To Truly Heal the Dead

QiQi is a zombie of... how many years? She can't remember exactly, but she knows that she died a long, long time ago, that much is certain... she has a poor memory, and one of the very few strong memories she has is one of being gored and left to rot until one of the land's kindly gods chanced upon her, knelt, and cursed the inane cruelty of humanity right along with her. QiQi begged not to die, not to waste away; she didn't want to fade into the Earth, she wasn't ready, she had more to do...

-and that god listened. Year and years and years went by though, and now the god who blessed QiQi, the god who slays gods and commands an army, has been murdered, and nobody knows who committed the act, or why, or most importantly how. However, around the same time- or maybe shortly after, she isn't really sure- QiQi found a young woman half dead in the plains. She'd dragged this woman back to the pharmacy and clinic where she worked, repeating to herself the entire time so as not to forget; "Get this stranger to safety. Don't let her die. This is your job."

Shortly after the zombie girl finally succeeded in this endeavor, a man with long brown hair and kind, warm eyes arrived. Kneeling beside the unconscious, found woman, he looked to the staff of the pharmacy and murmured, soft.

"She's... the new Archon."
