Cassius Waterstorm is about to fulfill his life-long dream of joining the prestigious Orion Academy of Magical Arts. Potions, magical creatures, amazing spells - everything is waiting there for our soon to be mage. But, on a fateful night, an unexpected event occurs. He crosses paths with a powerful dark shade who almost manages to kill him. 

Narrowly escaping, Cassius finds himself in a world full of wonderful and terrible things. The only question is, did he make  the right choice when deciding to become a Mage? Is it all worth the risks?
