The True Saint
A darklina story~How would the story end if the battle at the climax of Seige & Storm between Alina and the Darkling happened at a different place and time-After the Darkling became the reigning king. What would have happened if the Sun Summoner surrendered? Alina Starkov struggles with her feelings towards Aleksander and protecting her country. She is forced into decisions that she did not want to make while at the Grand Palace. The Sun Summoner loses even more control over her life after her marriage to the Darkling. She must gain back control and find a way to save Aleksander's humanity; the lives of innumerous innocent people depend on it. This story is based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy combined with the Netflix show. Hours of devotion to this story I crafted from my head and a single character I wanted to give a nice wifey. That was how it begun. And yes. I enjoyed it in many ways. Yes, Genya wasn't smth I saw coming even though I felt a pull to her in the show itself. I wasn't planning on that at all. Yet. At the end of it all. I can't even bring myself to finish this shi- Ahem. Set after Season 2 of Shadow and Bone. I have not read the books and likely will not, ever.
