Kyira lost her parents at a young age and was taken in by the king of Stalrion, her fathers trusted friend. For over 20 years she has lived a happy, sheltered life with her best friend Ner by her side. She has managed to keep dark secrets hidden, avoiding menacing forces who would seek to use her unusual abilities for evil. But as war arrives at their door, there is no stopping what fate has in store for her. Kidnapped by the enemy, Kyira vows not to forget the horrors they have face. Please note this story contains violence, swearing and sexual scenes. My skin started tingling, I couldn't seem to breath again. Turning round I saw the looming figure stood before me. I had to look up to peer at his face, his eyes were so dark the pupils looked like they blended into his eyes until closer look. He had ruby red lips and his skin was pale. His night black hair touched his thick eyebrows. Huge black wings towered behind him, covered in many feathers. He was wearing a black cloak and noticed three horrifying weapons were strapped to it. For a beat we just stared at each other. All of a sudden he leapt. Oh my gods. I realised he was going to try to grab me.
