The shadows are upon those of the land of Aerrann, the light of Se'Rah suffocated into limbo and The Corruption, that once only infested the east, has infected those who would lead them. Min-Aeric, The Protector of The Minnah, travels back to the main city of the land of Aerrann, The Place of Minnos after being summoned. Having lived a life of self-forced exile in the mountains of Aezai, Min-Aeric braces himself as the memories of why he fled begin to catch up with him. However, once he arrives he realizes that his memories aren't the only thing awaiting him in the city but instead the aftermath of a power struggle between the other two leaders of the land of Aerrann. Left behind in the wake of this destruction are two factions, those who stayed in The Place of Minnos, following The Word of The Minnah, Min-Aennais, and those who chose to leave and follow The Chosen of The Minnah, Min-Aenon. Walking into more questions than answers, Min-Aeric must try to unify the land and restore the natural order of things, while also staring The Corruption in the face. What happens when the darkness overcomes the light? And what horrors can the darkness bring?

"Upstairs!" I hear a yell and pounding footsteps. I crawl out of the window until I'm hanging from my hands. I take a breath. I let go. ~ Living in a small town with a single mother, Mia Glenn never expected anything special to come of her life. She never thought she would go on an adventure as harrowing as the stories she read. Until one day she narrowly avoids being kidnapped, discovering in the same day a whole new universe that she is supposedly a part of. As she navigates the elven world of Earthe with the help of a particularly attractive elf boy, she learns secrets about her identity and her father's, of whom she believed had ditched her and her mom at an early age. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.
