Seventeen-year-old Nora Brown's life flips upside down when an asteroid hits the United States while she is playing tennis with her sister, Raine, and her other friends. She goes from swinging tennis racquets to firing guns and plotting and executing rescue missions to save her friends and family over the course of an extraordinary few weeks. Her trust and identity are tested when she meets a certain dark-haired boy who leads her down a path she might lose herself on. Evil organizations, looming betrayals, and the fear of impending failure all threaten the ability for Nora to bring her family and friends back together.
