☭ POST WORLD WAR II, the world was a confusing place. Between the United States and Russia, the threat of nuclear war plagued the minds of everyone. The former allies fought with shady, backhanded trade agreements, showing off which nation had the bigger guns come time for another war. But the Russians had something greater working behind the scenes. Anastasia Romanov was trained for this: infiltrate and assume cover in American operations, more specifically, the Central Intelligence Agency. She worked her way through internship, to the typing pool, to sitting in a laboratory with Hank McCoy and taking notes of his findings. Not exactly what the Russians wanted, but it was better than nothing, considering the looming threat of nuclear annihilation hanging by a thread. ☭

"No running through the hallway!" I yelled as two boys ran past me. "Yes Professor." They said as they slowed down. I smiled as I shook my head and continued walking towards my class. "Professor there are two kids fighting at the pool." Rogue , one of my students, said softly. "Thank you for telling me." I said with a smile. "What is going on?" I asked as I made it to the pool and saw Bobby and John fighting. "He started it." John growled out. "Well I'm finishing it, class now or I will send you to the Professor's office." I ordered. "Yes Professor." Bobby said as he walked away. I smiled as I shook my head and walked to my class. "Mom!" A voice yelled. I smiled as I turned to see my five year old daughter run up to me. "Hello Sweetheart, what are you up to?" I asked as I picked her up. "Running from papa." She said with a giggle. I smiled as I saw my husband of twenty years walking towards us.
