Nick never thought twice about the way his lover, Jesse, treated him. It was always normal for him. Always normal when Jesse had a fit, always normal when he couldn't say or do anything without the okay from Jesse first.
He'd never thought twice when Jesse got violent, and not once thought about leaving.
