This is part one of two books (book two is ongoing on my account). I use music in chapters like in film scenes.  The story is mature and the smut does get graphic as the story progresses.   I'm a history buff and I love writing comedy skits, so there is a lot of comedy and carefully researched historical events peppered into the book.

He, a cursed twin brother. 
She, a dying human.

After 40 days of transitioning, vampires become immune to the curse of the sun and can walk in daylight.  Alistair, was a vampire able to enjoy the California sun whenever he pleased.  

Cursed by a scorned lover, Alistair can never walk in daylight again unless he can prove worthy of true love, like the love the sun radiates.   A playboy, cocky womanizer  in search for "The One".  Someone must love him for the monster he is.  Someone he can not compel.   

Stella suffers from a rare blood disorder.  Her treatments stopped working and she is slowly dying.  Her blood is poisonous to vampires.   He can't have her.  

Stella is The One.

She is his last hope.

I wanted to write a story inspired by AM and TLSP.  Based on the gimmicks of various looks Alex Turner sported (AM Dracula,  late SIAS, Teddy boy,  EYCTE, and bearded TBHC).   This main character, Alistair, is inspired by Turner's Dracula gimmick. 

It is purely inspired.

Niall's dad is the person to find Haven and save her, but none of Haven family are around for her to go back to. Not only that, Haven can't do anything for herself.
