Lily Evans noticed a change in James Potter when he returned to school for their 7th year. She saw that James has stopped bullying Severus, and he even apologized to the other male for the way he acted during their 5th year. She even saw James convince his best friend, Sirius Black, to do the same. Even though Severus didn't accept their apology, Lily has decided to give James and Sirius a second chance by becoming their friend. 

Months have gone by, and Lily started to developed feelings for James, and she even confessed her feelings to him. To her surprise, James still had feelings for Lily, and he reciprocated those feelings. Soon, the two started to go out with one another, and their relationship blossom from there.

After they graduated, James invited Lily to spend the summer with him and his family at the Potter's Manor, which she accepted. However, Lily soon finds out why James changed so much when he introduces her to his daughter, 1-year-old Juliette Jamie Potter-D'Aboville.
