More Than What He Seems - A Fortnite Story #1
- This story takes place after the events of Season 2, and before Season 4, except this time, Midas isn't "killed off" by a shark.- With his device broken, his plans in shambles and agents turned against him or captured, the ex-leader of the now destroyed Agency, Midas, seems lost... quite literally as he's left to float away on a raft alone... ...or so he thinks. A young child with a close bond with one of Midas' top agents rescues him from certain death, and is determined to become an agent, just like him and Skye. Along the way, parts of Midas' softer side begin to come out through the girl's kindness and compassion. But will it become an issue or distraction in the future? Forming an unlikely bond, it'll be up to them, the other remaining Ghost members and a certain someone from Midas' past to reunite and take back the Agency from Chaos Agent's Shadow. *I don't own any of the art or renders shown in here unless said. All credit goes to the original creators.*Concluida

Lost Not Forgotten Novel: Midas Story
Midas was born with a curse: The Golden Touch. Everything he touched turned to gold. He never knew why the gods even gave him the curse in the first place, but now, all he can do to keep himself from destructing the world and causing chaos with his abilities is to hide from the world and remain anonymous. There was a way to control his power, but his stress and anxiety keep him from being able to. As a result, all his life he has remained isolated from the world, with no one else except for the gods to guide him throughout life and his daughter, Skye. Then, one day, he goes out into society and accidentally exposes himself in front of everyone. Now, the people know who he is and what he is capable of, and start hunting him down. Many think all he can do now is hide and run, but hopefully he will be able to fully escape this mess and turn things back to the perfect way they were before. This story is honestly become a corrupted/inaccurate portrayal of my headcannons for the characters (don't get me wrong, this was still a pleasure to write), so attached at the end of this book is a chapter called Character Insights/Headcannons that I honestly recommend reading more as it is a non regretful version of this fiction I made that I love. Enjoy!Concluida

Midas' Destiny (Original Version)
"He's still in there", Maya heard Arachne whisper, and she closed her eyes, letting her own tears flow. He hadn't given up his fight with himself and she swore to find him, no matter the price. She sat in his chair, her heart once again pounding. "Why the long face, it worked, didn't it?", Tina asked and to Maya it felt like that was thousands of kilometers away. "His eye", she whispered more to herself, "it's not blue anymore... it's even more gold than before..." She was able to wake him from his trance, but he might be even more gone than before. _______ While this story and the characters are inspired by Fortnite, you as a reader do not need to play the game to understand the story. Used to be "Meowscles' Destiny"Concluida
