There was absolutely no reason for him not to marry her as he himself had proclaimed his love for her since the start of their first year. His wife would give birth to a son however what if he had a child that was from another pure blood witch?
The daughter of James Potter and Eleonora Belrose, would become the wizarding worlds greatest mystery.
The legacy of the Potter family would be passed down to a young girl not a boy. Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, surprisingly was not the one to inherit the Potter legacy. It was a girl with eyes of steel and a heart of stone that would become heiress of the Potter legacy, fortune, and prophecy.

He gave her an invitation to study at Hogwarts. She thought he was crazy, after all Hogwarts was a made up place a place that only existed in books that she read and the movies she watched. JK Rowling was her favorite author. She brought her books to life and made them feel real. She'd read and reread all seven books watched all 8 movies religiously. She knew every character and every line of the book. Felt as if she knew Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all the characters in the books personally. After much persuasion from her parents and the funny looking man she agrees. She's brought into a world that she thought was make believe. All characters except Grace are JK Rowling's.
