A family Christmas stay in La Loche seems to prove more boring than expected for Ed and Sally Anderson. That is until they learn of the town's latest visitor - one whose origin and identity are unknown, and so is his seemingly impossible ability to appear and vanish. As the two become further involved in the mystery, the more they realise that they are treading on dangerous matters, ones that some people want to keep under wraps any way they can. I entered this story into a novella writing competition in 2013 for which it was shortlisted. I had developed it from an intial 2,000-word concept into a 10,000-word story although at some point, I'd like to revisit it and work it into something more fully fleshed-out. To date, this is the last complete story I've written. I am uploading it here with next to no revisions from the last time I touched it back in the close of 2013.Concluída

A plane which went missing twenty six years back has suddenly come back from nowhere. Read on to find out where it was, and what happened to the passengers in the plane. The plot focuses on a family of four who were in the plane, and the chilling experiences they have after the plane went missing, their struggles for survival in a place they don't know and lots more. Readers are the motivation for writers to give bigger and better content. Mayas flight to London got delayed for 24 hours. stuck at the airport in Germany and With most of the hotels booked her only option was to either stay at the airport and get some sleep on those hard plastic chairs. So, instead of being stuck at the airport knowing she's going to miss her cousins wedding. Maya decided to get to the train station. With no destination in mind. As she tries to figure out how the train tickets system works, a young man approaches her. While two make conversation the train arrives. passengers got on and off the train, and the young man walked backwards towards the doors of the train. "So, let's make some memories." He suggested, holding out his hand for her to take. Will Maya take the leap of faith and trust a complete stranger she just met or will she return to the airport and spend the next 24 hours on the hard plastic chairs while waiting for her flight ?Concluída

Carla, a college student, was planning a trip along with her friends for the upcoming spring break. they decided to go to Miami Florida beach to get away from their current worries. it was all ruined when I got an unexpected call. it was my uncle. he said that my father was on his deathbed, that I was to immediately come home. and I said yes uncle I will be on the plane tonight and I will be there by morning and my uncle said ok my child I will see you then. after I hung up with my uncle I begin to hurry and pack. with tears coming down my cheek. hoping to see my papa for one last time before he passes I prayed. I got to the airport about 9 pm that night I boarded the plane and sat down in my chair. with tears still coming down my cheeks thinking back to the good old day that I had with my papa as I cried my self to sleep.Concluída
