Serenity Malfoy was meant to be a Slytherin Princess but her heart dropped as the word "Gryffindor" Rang loudly in her ears. She wasn't brave she was the furthest thing from brave often needing her brother Draco to protect her. She was everything a Malfoy wasn't soft, kind, and insecure.

Neville Longbottom's heart stopped when he heard the name 'Malfoy' be called to the sorting hat. He wasn't sure he would be able to survive another tormentor from the Malfoy family. However, when the sorting hat bellowed Gryffindor he looked up to see a terrified blonde hair girl practically shaking on the stool. He knew that feeling well as just last year he had been shaking on the same stool praying for Hufflepuff. Befriending the Slytherin Princess was one thing but falling for her would prove to be a fight Neville would never imagine he could handle.

Serenity may have been sorted into Gryffindor, friends with the golden trio, an adopted Weasley, in love with a Longbottom but none of that may matter when the Dark Lord returns for she was still a Malfoy.
And a time will come where she'll have to accept what being a Malfoy truly means. Will she lose it all to the darkness? Or could she be the light?
