Taking place 70 years after the war against Koschei, 
Prythian has seen almost a century of peace and prosperity. 

The children of the Inner circle have grown and all eyes are on Nyx Archeron, the next High Lord of the Night Court. Nyx, however, has no intention of taking on the role, or any of the responsibility that accompanies it, any time soon. In fact, he'd rather not take it on at all. 
That is, until a certain Valkyrie-in-training waltzes into his life and knocks him down a peg, literally. 

Tate Ilsley has been training her entire life to become worthy of the title of Valkyrie commander, refusing to take a breath for even a moment until she feels like she has proven herself. When Nesta offers her a short cut to achieving everything she's ever dreamed of, she refuses to allow the infuriating and arrogant Nyx to stand in her way. Even if it means dragging him right along with her.

Since this FanFic takes place after the events of the entirety of the ACOTAR series, and SJM hasn't finished publishing all the books, I have to make some personal decisions for the sake of my mental health... If any of the following don't appeal to you, you don't need to read my story:)

- Azriel and Gwyn are happily mated (DUH!)
- Elain is on a self-discovery journey (Or whatever, I just won't be mentioning her much or even at all. I'm sorry if you hoped I would, I'm just afraid my strong dislike of her would give me a bias while writing her) 
- There was a full blown war with Koschei after the events of ACOSF that took place but it's all resolved now;) 
-Emerie and Mor are mates (I don't care if they had a 0.5 second interaction, I believe in eMORie supremacy!!!)

STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover!
