Sapphire watches her sister Celia's heart be torn to pieces by a man who rejects her for status and money. Sapphire doesn't want that to happen to her so she asks God to show her and He says, "Wait." In the middle of her waiting Sapphire is invited to the Queens Ball which is a customary ball meant for bringing couples together to further the kingdom. She doesn't know if she is ready to find a husband but she knows it is not proper to miss the queens ball so she attends. What happens when Sapphire waits for the One God has for her? Will God bring that One special man into her life during the queens ball? Or will God give her strength to endure seeing so many engagements until the next Queens Ball? Sapphire is trusting God to guide her, little does she know so is the Prince.....

Eighteen year old Jasper Williams hides his feelings for the same sex from his friends and family, he likes girls but there's something about the same sex that makes him want to be with a guy. Jasper ends up experimenting with a friend of the same sex, and now knows what he wants Jasper goes online and chats with a man of twenty eight years old, it just starts off chatting and sharing pictures, after three months they decide to meet in a park. Jasper knows it will be safe meeting his chat friend there, and his other friend goes with him, they meet and talk mostly about what they already talked about online, now the chat guy decides to give Jasper his cell number and told him they can talk off line. Jasper tells him its fine only he has to call him his folks wouldn't understand he tells him that's fine. After that day Jasper met his chat friend in the park every Saturday, this time he asks Jasper to come to his place, Jasper agrees and they've been meeting there ever sense, no sex just talking and watching movies. One day Jasper asked his chat friend why hasn't he ever asked him for sex, he tells him because one gets to know one before rushing into something like that. And that's the night Jasper had his first real sexual encounter with the same sex. This went on until Jasper found out his on and off girlfriend is pregnant, and his chat friend tells him he has to choose his lifestyle. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. This tells the story of the noble girl, Kamille Mariano, "stripped" of her status by her stepmother when her father passed away.
