Sam Wilson and Marley Garcia have been best friends since they started High school. Together they face the ups and downs of teenage life before forging new paths after graduation. Marley goes to college, but it doesn't last long. Sam goes into the airforce, which also doesn't last long.

Some things have to get worse before they can get better, so after Marley's life takes a sharp turn she isn't surprised to see her best friend at the end of the road. Fate brought them back together after all this time but why? Are there more feelings involved now than there were all those years ago? Or does the world just need a little Sam and Marley? With the help of the Avengers, they find their way, which always led back to each other.
