He was just concerned.
The God of the server was Aeons old. He knew all and could do all. Possibly being the most powerful being, he had the ability to canonically kill people; but he could save them too. And somehow, he managed to attach himself to a mortal. No reason or rhyme to it, he was a mortal... but... there was something about the way he smiled that reduced the all powerful God to a flustered pile of happy goo.
(This might be a bit out of character and not follow te canon exactly but i promise I make my ideas work!)

New Friends, or Old?
Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend. Then years later the two end up living next to each other again and Dream recognizes his old friend and wants to reform the friendship, and maybe add a bit more to it. This is a DreamNotFound fanfic. I don't want to make anyone unconfirmable, so if Dream, George, or anyone else that I add here wants it taken down I will. Also, Dream has said that he doesn't like his real name and so whenever he is mentioned he will be Dream and not Clay. Resurrection (A DNF Story)
Members of the DreamSMP are over at Dream's place when Sapnap and a few others begin to cross the line with Dreamnotfound jokes. Eventually, Dream has had enough of George being uncomfortable because of the sexual jokes and decides to knock some sense into Sapnap. The fight gets heated and Dream throws a punch at Sapnap, but misses.
