In a world full of broken hearts and whispered secrets, Avery has learned to build walls no one can breach. Until the day Jasper walks into her life. Avery doesn't believe in second chances or happy endings. Her past is a jagged puzzle she's learned to keep hidden beneath a smile, and she keeps her distance from everyone to protect herself from the inevitable pain of being let down. But when she meets Jasper, a mysterious new student with a magnetic presence, everything she thought she knew about love, trust, and herself is thrown into question. Jasper isn't like anyone Avery has met before. There's something about him-an unspoken understanding in his eyes, a quiet pull that drags her closer, no matter how much she pushes him away. But behind his calm exterior lies a past as fractured as her own, one that will either bring them together or tear them apart. As their lives become entwined, secrets unravel, emotions flare, and the line between love and pain becomes impossible to ignore. But in a world of broken promises, can they both heal-or will their hearts remain shattered?
