These are the the things ringing through the boys minds as they step upon the Hogwarts Express as they head for the home they chose, it now being more forward than ever as Mcgonagall inacts changes to increase support and acceptance after the war.
Two fucked up boys, an awkward encounter, goofy friends dating, midnight meetings in the Room of Requirement, comfort, a toddler Metamorphmagus, and a fair helping of romance. Oh, and a bunch of puzzling dreams and letters from the deceased. What more could possibly happen?

Defence Against the Love Arts
After the war, all Hogwarts students were required by Ministry decree to repeat the year. Snape, as headmaster at the time, was too occupied with his wartime role, and the other teachers focused more on protecting the students than on pushing their education forward. So Draco and Harry, long-time rivals, find themselves crossing paths once again in the halls of Hogwarts. How has the war changed their enmity? Will they manage to bridge the gap between them? Dear readers, this story is being published alongside its original version in my native language. I first began writing it eight years ago, then took a break, and now I'm returning to finally finish it. Because the story was quite well received in my native language, I've decided to start releasing it in English as well. As I've mentioned, English is not my first language. Please forgive any awkward phrasing or occasional grammatical errors. I hope you will enjoy your reading anyway! A heads-up: the story moves slowly, and the relationship between Harry and Draco develops very gradually. I hope that won't put you off, I promise we'll get to it.

Harry and friends are returning to Hogwarts for an 8th year to complete their studies, but the last person he expected to return was Draco Malfoy. Can he put their old rivalry behind them and start anew? Draco has been dealing with his own struggles since the war, and finds himself in a very dark place when Harry Potter, of all people, comes back into his life. Can he offer what Draco desperately needs - a friend, or maybe more? This is the story of two boys working through old bitterness, sexuality, mental health, and new foes amidst the end of the war and their return to Hogwarts. Author's Note: This is a slow burn, enemies to lovers, with a lot of angst but a decent amount of fluff too, more of a plot than just the romance and a happy ending (trust me). "Mr. Malfoy, where are you going? You just woke up from a great fall after all, I'm sure your friends can come here, instead of you going to them." Who was Malfoy? Oh right, it was probably him. A little bit late, he realised that he should have told her about the complete memory loss since he had no idea where he was going to go once he left the hospital-like room. On second thought, maybe making a scene would have actually been a good idea. Well, it was too late to turn back now. "I will just be going out for a little stroll...around. I must admit that I am in dire need of some fresh air. My, how long did you say I was out for again?" He put his hand to his chest like it was an absolute travesty to have not been told. "I-uh...four days, Mr. Malfoy. You were out for four days." "Well then, I shall be going now. Toodaloo!" Madam Pomfrey stood completely frozen for a long moment like this was the exact opposite of what she expected to happen when Draco woke up. "Mr. Malfoy, wait!" The witch eventually called out, but Draco was already out of the door. Draco wakes up in the hospital wing having no idea who he is and how he got there. Turns out he fell 20 feet down the stairs and got his memory wiped. What else could go wrong? Meeting Harry Potter definitely was fun, but can he figure out who obliviated him and get his memories back? Or will he be stuck like this for the rest of his life? Ginny has tried to help him, but he is unperceptive to her efforts. It's not until Draco Malfoy unexpectedly reenters his life, that things start taking a few turns. Will Harry make it though the battles that rage on in his mind? --This first book and a half is Rough, quality-wise. It's too severe to edit. Y'all are just going to have to give it a chance.
