In a world in the not too distant future, humanities fate steered off the path many had foreseen, with an uncertain future, their lives swerved from the safety of their planet into the wide open galaxy.
Luca Price was just a young man during the collapse, although he was an orphan, a mediocre future seems better than an uncertain one under the vast universe. As he finds himself searching for a way to survive, which path will he follow on his journey?
Not my cover art and the title is tentative. Feel free to give constructive criticism wherever you see fit, I'd very much appreciate it.

This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.
Doomsday Disaster
In a collapsing world, kindness and mercy can no longer change the direction of fate. The former hero has long been exhausted. Facing endless darkness and despair, he made a shocking decision-if kindness cannot save, then choose to slaughter. On the brink of death, he was reborn. Like the sin under the scorching sun, he is no longer the idealist who pursues justice, but a cold avenger. Abandoning all morality and emotions, he chooses to inject a new order into the world with blood and violence. At this moment, he is no longer a savior, but a judge of the world. In his hands, death becomes the only salvation. And he will lead this collapsing world to a ruthless and regretless future.

I mean, it was never meant to be a problem; most estimates said we'd find viable alternatives by then. But we were so preoccupied with getting the last barrel of oil out, we never stopped to ask what we'd do after it was out. Little fallen stars (The adventure in an apocalyptic world)
The world descended into chaos, in what people defined as the apocalypse. Like all their favorite characters in the books, two little boys set out on an adventure. They encountered villains, floods, earthquakes, strange animals, and mischievous plants-was the world really this difficult to navigate? What about their home? Will they reach it at the end of their adventure? ... While the world was unwelcoming, filled with the darkest lows in human history, a safe haven was built to welcome the abandoned twins. This haven held their favorite sweets, soft blankets, and heroes that descended from their cartoon books-the heroes who would later kneel before them, declaring their unyielding love. This is a story with characters who were originally from far away, from other stars. They fell to Earth and took form and life in it. The development holds more than life in an apocalyptic world and teaches about destiny, in which their "heroes" will await. ---
The Devourer (A Highschool DxD Fanfic)
With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life. Along the way through space, it gained awareness of its surroundings so it was now able to choose what to do with this odd planet. Consume or Explore . . . The Freaks
After a disaster strikes the earth, teenagers are all that survive. But they develop strange and dangerous abilities that brand them as monsters. They're nicknamed the Freaks. Luca's a Freak like no other. When he turns eighteen, he's sentenced to death by a government sent from space, known as the Soldiers, to wipe the earth of the teens and start new, but the Freaks don't allow that. Luca is saved from execution by Freaks who bring him to safety, and there he finds not only food and shelter, but more like him surviving, when he thought they had all died. He's immediately given a task by the mysterious leader of the Freaks, and he's faced with two options: should he sit back and watch as his own are captured and killed by the enemy he's dealt with before, or should he risk everything - even his own life - to save them all?Concluida
