Life was normal until one summer, a change in you and your life long best friend Alex Turner, triggers a seemingly unending chain of events. As the Monkeys take off, you two slowly begin to drift in an out of your friendship. But this opens a place for a new friend, in that of one of your cousin's best friends, Matty Healy.
As seasons change and songs are sang, your relationships with each man fluctuates in intensity, causing you to sometimes take time away from both of them. But with both men always grasping for your attention, it's not uncommon that you feel torn between the two.
