     King Sigismund Old Augustus, the second last Jagiellonian king of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania died after returning from war with Spain. He won the battle but, his son, Sigismund II Augustus, the next ruler of Poland, was a peaceful king. 

     Because of his believes in peace, he made an alliance with the country. A marriage alliance. He married the Princess of Spain. 

     Princess of Spain and king Augustus had three beautiful kids. 
Astraea, the first born daughter of Royal family of Poland, and the crowned princess of Poland and Hungary. James and Amelia, twins, who came a year after Astraea. 

     When Astraea was twelve her country was attacked by the armies of Serbia. To protect his children, Augustus sent them away from his country. To his friend, King Henry II of France. 

     Astraea with her siblings stayed in France for about two years until the war over. But Astraea never thought that those two years on French soil would shape the rest of her life.
