It all started with some virus, i think. Some nasty bug that got off the Wuhan express and left the world locked up in their own homes. I didn't care though. Hell, i liked the peace and quiet: No damn girl scouts knocking on my door asking for cash, less traffic, and more beer for me down at the local pub. Yes-sir-ee no complaints here.
Well...That was before some sick fuck came along and decided,"hey maybe i should start mercilessly slaughtering people. That'd be a great use of everyone's time."

One of his hands was snaked around my back while the other dragged up my spine into my hair. With one hard tug, my head fell backward and the shower water covered my face.
