"Don't think that this changes anything" he whispered his breath fanning my face, lips too close for me to think straight. If I move just a mere inch our lips could touch. As if reading my mind, he chuckled, a wicked smile playing on his lips. "you would like that wouldn't you?" his lips lightly brushed mine with each word. "For me to kiss you, to accept you?" my stomach filled with butterflies at the anticipation. All I could think was how his proximity is making me feel all sorts of things. I wanted his touch, his kisses. I wanted his love.
"Kiss me" "Please". The words left my lips before I could stop them. My eyes closed on their own accord, my breath coming out shaky. My heart hammered in my chest.
I felt the warmth of his proximity leave me, I never dared to open my eyes. I heard a few steps echo through the room. and a door slammed shut.
He left, he left me here, alone.
