Book Two from The Ruined Series

*****************
"So what's your story?" She asked me, as she blows out a ring of smoke. I swallowed as I stared at the smoke ring rise up into the darkness.

What's my story? I used to be a junkie and I have a kid. I thought as I continued to stare up at the spot where the smoke once was. She sighed as she waited for my response.
Stretching her arms behind her, she leaned back and she stared up at the stars that illuminated the night.
"You ever been in love?" She asked me, ignoring the first question she had asked.
I looked away from her direction as I focused on a small patch of grass below my feet.
My mind taking me back to Jennifer.
I swallowed my tears as I continued to stay mute.

A story about a boy who is healing and grieving from the dangerous thing called Love.

DIABOLIC SERIES 3 All my life I've lost my breath. It would happen over the simplest things, if I stretched too high to catch a ball, lifted something for too long, if I sneezed, if I talked. Other times I would loose my breath because I had a panic attack, or was yelling or being yelled at, if I was exerting myself on a physical level. Having the wind knocked out of me is a familiar feeling. But I didn't truly know what it felt like to loose the air in my lungs, loose the feeling that has kept my alive my entire life. I didn't loose it when I fell in love, I didn't loose it when I found out one drunken night with the girl I love would mean a baby, I didn't loose it when I found out that I'd actually be a father. No, I lost that when she told me that she doesn't love me. When she spit in my face how much she can't stand me, how I've ruined her life, that she doesn't want me in any aspect. I'm not her 'type' whatever that means, seeing as she quite willingly had sex with me. Her saying this made this ugly, lonely and depressing thought hit my diaphragm. Violet Thompson is carrying my child. And she despises me for it. The way I came to this conclusion was simple, Nonnie- -that's what I call her, since her middle name's Noel and I wanted something to call her that if I shouted it in the middle of a crowd, only she would turn to and know it's me- -told me that all she wants is someone there. A father for her baby, a physical presence. Not a mind, personality. Not a person. A body. A shell. I've been a dead man walking. And I was that shell, was just a body... until I found him.

'"Can you spread your legs a little farther for me, baby?" he asks me, his voice a low whisper. I nod, doing exactly as I'm told, and he bites down on his lower lip. "Good girl," he breathes, and those two words alone do the most wicked things to me. His fingers trail even farther north until he reaches the hem of my underwear. His eyes meet mine and I have to let out a shaky breath, holding on tight to him to keep myself stable. "Yes or no?" he asks me quietly, and I nod frantically.' 🌸🌸🌸 Lexi Brooks' love life was suddenly flipped upside down when she was kissed by Bryce Bradshaw the day before he mysteriously moved away. It left her heart in a twist, until her mind was trapped elsewhere when 'The Incident' occurred; quite possibly the hardest thing she'd ever go through. But Bryce always had it easy. He was the heartthrob, the bad boy, the perfect guy. He had the looks, the talent, and the charisma. Though to Lexi's surprise, on the rare occasion she could catch him out of the spotlight, she saw something else there. She could tell that he was a little distant. He could tell that she was a little different. The only crucial detail: He simply left without a word. 🌸🌸🌸 Highest Rankings: #1 in Drama #1 in Heartbreak #1 in YA 🌸🌸🌸 'Something There' Book #1
