Prince George of Ellesmere befriended orphaned peasant boy Sebastian when they were only 12 years old. The two became inseparable, sharing a bond that was scorned by both the King and the other village children. 
As they grew older and Prince George was often kept away for courtly duty, Sebastian found himself sucked into a life of petty crime with the boys he had called his friends.
