My anger faded, as I felt my cheeks become flushed, hesitating as I tried to deny the inevitable truth, "No... No, I don't! Joshua, now you're grasping at straws, don't be ridi-."
"I don't want to hear that shit!" He cut me off, getting angerously close, his voice very low as I felt his breath on my face with every word, "I see the way you look at him. The way you smile, laugh, I see how you act. I know this because you used to do that with me!"
I couldn't explain this away. I couldn't even find the will or the words to deny it. Not this time. I did have feelings for Gabe, and my worst fear came true. Joshua could see it.

"Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell.
