This is a story about a princess named Zelda and her envious stepmother, Queen Midna. One day, when her stepmother finds out through the Mirror of Twilight that her stepdaughter is the fairest woman in the land, she orders a huntsman to kill the beautiful princess. However, the huntsman refuses to do so and the princess finds refuge in the Kokiri village with a tribe of children from the Forest and ends up meeting the love of her life, a young man who inhabits the village, named Link. But her stepmother, knowing that Zelda still lives, will do anything to get rid of the young princess. Will Zelda and Link be able to live their romance? And what dark secrets lie behind the Mirror of Twilight and the Queen's envy? 
 
Based on the classic fairy tale by Brothers Grimm and the animated movie by Walt Disney. All characters mentioned in the fanfic are the intellectual property of Nintendo and this is purely fan-made entertainment from fan to fan, with no lucrative means.

Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo.
