Sonic Forces: The Untold Story by SuperScourge161

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). An Odd Newcomer by TheSonicBase

A Mobian with a mysterious past is caught by Sonic and Tails, but as time goes on, he becomes part of the team. This story, and all future ones, are connected to the same version of their universe. Takes place in the Classic timeline, making everyone 4 years younger, but they speak because they did before SEGA said "nah lol". Note: I made the thumbnail this way because since it takes place in the Classic era, I gave my character the Sonic 3 treatment with twice the pixels. Also, I'm not the best at thumbnail art lol. I'll make an HD version of this in the future. Let me know if you like the pixel art idea. I do not own Sonic, nor its characters or series. It is all owned by SEGA enterprises. This is merely a fanfiction.

What was meant to be a simple rescue mission turns out to be a week-long trek across an island as Sonic and friends race to fix their powers. Knuckles and Rouge address the elephant in the room. Sonic may like one of his friends more than he thinks he does. Eggman's just generally annoyed. Or, I'm writing Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic now, I guess. (Crossposted on ff.net and Ao3.)
