The world has been taken over by Eggman, a resistance has formed, and new heroes are rising. Join Sonic and his friends as they try to fix the world and end Eggman's tyranny. Can they fix Mobius, or has the Doctor and his new partner finally won?

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). If you wanna see what Sonic Forces COULD have been, then feel free to jump into this What If Story. DISCLAIMER: All the following is my own personal opinion/take. Welcome to Mobius a perfect place to live. Why, everything you need is right here on this very planet. We have technology, robot servants, and anything you could possibly think of. A polluted city was being attacked from the robots that were supposed to be servants but somehow they malfunctioned. We go to the top of a building as we see a shadowy figure sitting down at the edge of the tower with one leg dangling down from the roof and the other bent on top of the edge as the figure rested its arm on top of its knee gazing down at the polluted city. Everything is... gone. There's nothing left for me to do. All I have are my two sons, my only daughter, and my friends. I just don't know what to do anymore. My wife is gone, robots are taking over the planet, and what's worse... is that I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog and my wife Amy Rose has died to protect our children. Now it's my job to protect planet Mobius with the help of my younger brother, Miles "Tails" Prower, a red Echidna named Knuckles, two hedgehogs, Silver and Shadow. Summary: In the midst of the battle, Sonic calls upon Silver and Shadow to help him defeat their enemy. The seven chaos emeralds are there and react to two of them but one hedgehog finds themselves in quite the predicament. He doesn't glow, instead he is driven to his knees in agony facing demons like no other before. A darkness is coming to all the zones and our heroes are left questioning the past, present and future. Allies like no other come from afar as our heroes are forced through painful paths to save their home.
