Bianca was an orphan, left at the ward when she was a baby. Growing up with her friends, Bianca had a knack for causing trouble. Training to be  a healer has taken its  toll on her. Not only being separated from her best friend Will, but leaving her home country has caused her to become homesick. Planning a sudden trip up to Araluen for the first time since living in the ward, causes her to unknowingly to save many lives, including Will's along the way.  



In No way is the Ranger's Apprentice bookseries and characters owned by me. I only own Bianca and the tribe of Curandeiros. If you speak Portuguese you will know that is just the word for healers. I'm basing the islands off of Cabo Verde in West Africa, and since their official language is Portuguese, thats what I chose.  I am in no way intentionally trying to offened anyone who lives there, or any decendent of the people who lived there, I'm  just trying to have fun with writing and  needed a place to base the tribe off of for a visual. Please do not steal my work, if you do I will find you and report you to any fanfiction site that it is posted on, and possibly get you banned from the website. Monsters and mythical creatures are real. They are very real indeed, as well as magic. We just can't see it... There is an island on our world, one where they roam and have their own sophisticated society, mostly keeping to themselves. Mostly. One of these creatures is named Bianca. She has to travel to where the humans live, that's where she gets her food. One day, she goes in for the kill like normal, but can't continue. On the way home, she kept asking herself over and over again, "Why couldn't I kill him?" After realizing she has fallen for him, she returns to her hunting spot. Alyss was said to be dead. At least, that's what a report from the Ranger at Anselm Fief had said. She has gone into hiding as Catherine Altright for the past few weeks in Anselm itself until she earns enough money to travel to Redmont. All seemed well when she met Will again and he ends up falling in love with her secret identity. At first, it seemed like they were going to have a happy relationship. Until someone decided to take Alyss away from Will. Now Will has to save her, Halt has to keep his mouth shut about Catherine being Will's supposedly late wife and Alyss has to postpone the fact that she has to die by the same thing that was supposed to take her. Fire. Will Halt and Will be able to save Alyss in time? Will Halt be able to keep his mouth shut until Alyss tells Will? These questions will be answered as you read. Warning: If you have not read the Ranger's Apprentice series, that means ALL twelve books, then do not read. The prologue begins with a spoiler. Enjoy!
