Yuki is a royal princess just like Historia, but what makes her truly different is that she can communicate with the titans for she knows the truth of how titans are made. She does have one titan who is nice to her and protects her, so she gave it the name Jack. Not only does she have a titan protecting her, but her father, who would do anything to protect her and give her a life that she wants, disagrees with that beast protecting her for he fears that she'll be eaten by it. Yuki loves her parents because they'll do anything for her safety, but she wants to join the Survey Corps. She wants to protect humanity and tell the people the truth about titans. Will she be able to tell her parents about joining the Survey Corps? Will they agree? Or disagree? Will she be able to tell the people the truth?

Greta always suspected that her father was hiding something from her and her brother, she got suspicious because her father would be gone for long periods of time and he would spend all his time in the cellar. Greta was very observant for her age, especially when it came to learning about the dreaded Titans; they were monsters that appeared out of nowhere one hundred years ago. After watching her mother get eaten by a Titan; she, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa are evacuated from Shingashina with the help of Eren and Greta's family friend, Hannes. While Eren is furious about the whole ordeal, Greta is traumatized to the point of having frightening nightmares whenever she sleeps; and those nightmares aren't like ones she had as a little girl. Her nightmares are plagued with ravenous Titans out for the kill... She thinks it may be a coincidence at first because she knows that dreams don't always mean anything, but she can't get it out of her head.
